Mrs. Catoe’s Chronicles

Wow!  My Gamecocks won last night!!! It’s going to be a great day!  Seriously, I am looking forward to another great day at my school.  We celebrated the 100th day of school yesterday with a sensational Kindergarten rotation.  Each Kindergarten teacher highlighted some aspect of marking this momentous day of school.  From Streamline video to Smartboard instruction, teachers imbedded these technologies into their curriculum to make for a memorable afternoon of instruction.  I am always so amazed and excited about my teachers’ creativities!  Their enthusiasm for teaching and eliciting learning is what continues to drive me daily! 

Well, I guess that I moved into the 21st century with my own blog!  Spurred on by my students’ and teachers’ initiative to learn and utilize technology, I desired to work on establishing a blog.  As I learn more about this process, I hope that you will enjoy reading about my journey through this school year.  I will share my stories about my wonderful teachers and students as well as information about my own children as they evolve as learners each day!  I hope that you will enjoy some of these stories and respond readily and often.
